Actually . . . I just didn't have time to do it after taking my daughter to the doctor, stopping at the library, voting so I can support my socialist ways, and finally getting home. Risotto is a little time-consuming.
So anyway, I just escaped my worst WORST nightmare . . . senior citizen discount day at the red, white, and blue thrift store . . . I thought I would stop and get a few things to fit me for now (there are no dressing rooms there i might add), fought the old ladies just to get my cart down the damn aisles, stood in line for like 30 MINUTES, only to get home and find that 2 of the 5 things fit me. But - two of the other things should fit soon and the last thing will never fit because I will NEVER wear tapered pants, and I can't believe I didn't realize it when I picked them up.
Anyway I thought I would share my lunch from yesterday with you - the only thing that would have made it better would be some sauerkraut . . . because I'm gross like that :)

Biggest Loser: I don't really have much to say, although I'm a little disappointed that Tracy is gone because now who will I swear and yell at during the show? Also, the Abe Lincoln drama rama weigh-in . . . totally ridiculous.

That's one serious dog, Jess. But you're right... kraut would have taken it over the top!
I probably shouldn't say out loud what I'd like to do to that dog. Looks so good.
Thrift stores are a great place to get mom jeans. I accidentally picked up a pair a few weeks ago. They're hilarious looking (super high waist, tapered leg) but I'm keeping them. They'll be worth bucks some day.
Risotto soon, tho, right?
TBL is so melodramatic. It gets old, which is why I like fast forwarding through much of it! Can't wait to see the risotto recipe!
